They asked if I would meet them for a chat about their requirements. I went to their house and spent nearly 2 hours there but they knew I was right for them and they booked me straight away. They wanted a high-quality Mobile Disco with Uplighters in Digbeth just outside Birmingham city centre (They booked my gold package)

Venue Details

The Wedding was on a Sunday in April 2014 at an excellent Venue called Fazeley Studios. They offer you a choice of unique and fantastic places either at Fazeley Studios or the Custard Factory which are located in the creative quarter of Digbeth. They provide Meeting, Conferences, seminars to beautiful weddings. Full Address is Fazeley Events (Part of Fazeley Studios), 191 Fazeley Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 5SE.

Set Up and party Details – Their party was due to start at 7 pm and Finish at midnight but was worried guests would leave early because being a Sunday wedding and guests having work the next day. Their Wedding Breakfast started at 5 pm, and that is the time we could set up in a different room.

We arrived at 4.15pm, so we had to wait a little while until everyone removed themselves for the Wedding breakfast. It was a bit weird setting up in their function room because there are no plug sockets. We had to run extension leads from a different room and also it was ideal our uplighters are battery powered. We were all set up by 6.45 but the Wedding breakfast and speeches were running late, and they arrived in the Entertainment area at around 7.30.

It is Party Time – They cut the cake at 8.15pm and then straight into the 1st dance, and it went down brilliantly, and I knew we were in for a good time. From then on the dance floor was great all the time and I played plenty of music to suit everyone’s taste including Indie, pop, Charts, Club Classics, Party, Motown and Rock N Roll. It is a shame the party had to finish at midnight because it would have gone into the early hours of the morning. When I finish, I had the Bride and groom thanking me for an excellent night, and I had a couple come over to me asking for some details from me for their wedding.
