Wedding Dj In Staffordshire requirements – Mark Baker and Lisa Shaw contacted me via email about providing them with a High-quality Wedding Dj In Staffordshire. Also around 2 weeks before there event on the 1st June 2013, they asked me to provide a Balloon Arch and 16 x 3 Balloon Clusters for the tables
Venue Details – The Venue is Burntwood Memorial Institute, Rugeley Road, Burntwood, Staffordshire, WS7 9BE. They have 2 function rooms at this venue. We were in the large room with a beautiful big stage.
Setting Up – We arrived at the Burntwood Memorial Institute at Midday to set up. All the tables were already set up ready for us the put the balloons clusters on. Mark and Lisa decided to have Brown and ivory balloons to go with their colour theme. They set the tables up on the dance floor which I could not understand because the guests would have to move all the tables for the evening event. We were all set up ready to go at 3.30pm
Wedding Breakfast – The guests slowly started to arrive at 4 pm. Because it was a beautiful sunny day most of the guests was wondering outside. At 4.45 they were called into the main function room to start eating at 5 pm. Mark and Lisa kindly set me and my team a table up in another place so we could also eat a lovely Hot Roast. We also provided background music while guests were eating. The 3-course meal was finished at 6.30 ready for the speeches.
Mobile Dj Hire – Wedding Disco In Staffordshire
This was the part of the party I was not looking forward to. Because the venue had no staff ( mainly there were only subcontractors on site), it meant all the guests had to move all the tables after the speeches. So at around 7.15pm, I had to tell everyone to move their tables to the sides and back of the room. To be honest, it went better than I thought it would be.
Evening Party – The cutting of the cake started at 8 pm and then straight into the first dance. Their 1st dance song was Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars. The bride and groom decided on a 2nd song with you raise me up by West life. This was to get friends and family on to the dancefloor. The dance floor stopped full till 9.15 when I called the buffet. But it was not long until everyone got back up and danced the night away till midnight.
Comments – At the end of the night all the guests clapped and cheered, I also gave some business cards out to the guests. This was a fantastic Mobile Disco in Burntwood.
