Mobile Disco Shottle Hall Requirements – Sarah (Bride) got my details from the internet and emailed me about what services I could provide for them at their Venue In Derbyshire. We exchanged a few emails and Sarah booked us for our Mobile Disco package complete with Led Curtains and Up lighters. Sarah also wanted us to provide an Early setup, So it would not disturb the guests later on in the day.

Set Up Details
Sarah Asked us to set up at Shottle Hall nice and early. We arrived at the venue at 12.30pm and the staff told us where to set up our Mobile Disco. The Access into the Marquee is fairly easy with no stairs and only a short walk. The Dance Floor was already set up and the venue left us just enough room to set up. We were set up and ready to go at 2 pm. The Wedding breakfast was starting at 4.30pm, so we had plenty of time because we were only playing to evening from 7.30 till Midnight. We decided to go to a Local pub for some food and return to Shottle Hall at 6.30.
Song Requests
Sarah and Neal Clementis (Bride and groom) wanted something a little different for their 1st dance. They decided they wanted around 1 Minute of it must be love – Madness, then mix the Conga into it. They also sent me a Small Playlist. This includes Black Eyed Peas – I Got a feeling, Lionel Ritchie – Dancing on the ceiling, The Killers – Mr Brightside, Bruno Mars – Marry you, Robin S – Show me Love, Whitney Houston – I wanna dance with somebody, Micheal Jackson – Billie Jean and Thriller, Tiffany – I think we’re alone now, Kings of Leon – Sex On Fire. There was also plenty of Take That Songs and Party Tunes.
Evening Party
I knew I was going to have a good night because we started a little early and straight away guests started dancing. The Bride and Groom decided to have the 1st Dance at 8.30pm. We started off with It Must be Love and then mixed it into The Conga. This went down brilliantly and they danced all around the Venue. They had their Bacon Baps and wedges are 9 pm but many just carried on Dancing. The song of the night was Status Quo – Rocking all over the World, Everyone really enjoyed this song. The Dance floor stayed busy all night till Midnight.
A Few days Later – I received this email a few days later from the Bride and Groom.
Hi John,
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for being such a fab wedding DJ. All the guests loved the music. Thank you as well for setting up earlier in the day. I will definitely use/recommend you in future.

Sarah and Neal
