Mobile Disco and Mobile DJs In Stourbridge

Customers Requirements – We was contacted us early 2014 to provide a Mobile Disco in Stourbridge for his Wifes 50th Birthday. Geoff told us the venue offers there own in-house DJs, but he wanted to get his own. They had never booked a Dj before, but once he spoke to a few different local companies, he knew we were the one for him. He also liked we had provided services before at benjamins, and we could also provide PLI and Pat certificates

Venue Details

Benjamins In Halesowen is a very popular venue in the heart of the town centre. This venue as 2 Function rooms and plenty of car parking space. The full address is Benjamins, Birmingham St, Halesowen, West Midlands B63 3HN. Great venue and a short drive from Stourbridge.

Party and Set up Details

Geoff wanted us to start at 7 pm and finish at 1 am. I had arranged with the venue to gain access at 5.30pm. We were lucky with the car park because there was a free space right next to the entrance of the function room. We set up in good time with 30mins spare. The staff loved my set up and before I even started the disco they wanted some business cards from me.

The equipment they were really amazed by was now small my speakers was because the quality was Fantastic. I used my Bose L1 Model 2 with the B2 Subs and they were really shocked by the sound (that’s what you get with good expensive equipment). This venue is ideal as it’s not to far from Stourbridge

Its Party Time

Geoff and Jane (birthday girl) arrived at 7 pm. I started with background music straight away. Guests were really slow turning up, and at 8 pm only around 15 guests out of 120 had turned up. Lucky come 8.30pm most guests arrived in time for the 9 pm buffet. Once the meal was out of the way the dance floor started to fill up, and that’s how it was till 1 pm. I played all types of music including Motown, Pop, Party, Charts, Reggae, Soft Rock, Disco, the 80s and club classics from the 90s.

Once I finished at 1 am there was still around 75 guests, It was a long gig but worth it. Jane and Geoff came straight over to me and thanked me and said they would book me again and recommend me to there friends.

In April 2014 we also Provided another Mobile Disco In Halesowen at Newfields Masonic Hall. This wonderful Venue is fully licensed for Dancing, Singing and live music with a separate Licensed bar. The main room holds around 110 guests and as a small stage for a band or Disco. The bride wanted a mobile Disco to suit everyone’s needs and told us that Dennis Seaton from Music Youth would also perform in the evening. We had arranged for the day to set up early afternoon before the guests arrive. We returned in the evening around 6.30 and at 7 pm it was time for the venue to turn the room around for an 8 pm start. Once again venue is just a short drive from Stourbridge

Evening Party

Dennis from Music youth Turned up at 7.30 and asked if he could play through my Bose Speakers if it sounded ok. Dennis had a quick sound test and said the speakers sounded amazing and were more than happy with the sound. I started the evening off with their 1st dance which was the greatest Day by Take That and once I called the guests up on to the day floor it was busy all night long. Dennis came on and sang Soul and reggae and that went down very well.
