Mobile DJs in Cannock Requirements
The Bride and Groom Marc and Stacie contacted me around six weeks before their big day. They emailed me asking me to quote them on a Mobile Disco, Uplighters and a White Led Dancefloor. They email me sometimes asking me many questions, which I answered as honestly as I could. A few days later Marc phoned me up and told me I was one of 3 companies he was looking at. He stated my set up looked the best, but I was a little more expensive than the rest. Anyway, we had a good chat for around 45 mins, and he seemed very impressed and told me he would talk to Stacie and get back to me. The following day they said they would pay a deposit if they could meet me at the venue for a meeting. I told Marc and Stacie I could meet them in the week, which we did a few days later.
Customer Meeting
We only had one month to go for Marc and Stacie’s Big Day. We had arranged a meeting on a Wednesday at 6 pm and I was there early at 5.15. The events manager was there, and he decided to take me around the function room to show me the set up of the room. The room was in 2 parts. Part 1 is where the wedding breakfast was, and part 2 is where they moved and added extra tables into for the evening. Asked where I would set up and was told that in turn around period (after the meal). I would set up where the top table was once it was moved. I asked if it was ok with the bride and groom if I could set up in room two while guests were eating (In Room 1) and that way the guests in room one would not have to move out of the room while I set up.
The venue manager was pleased with that if it was ok with the bride and groom. When Stacie and Marc turned up at 6 pm, the venue manager told them what we thought was best and easiest for their day and they agreed on what I had put forward. Marc and Stacie talked to me about Music and equipment, and they would forward their playlist to me within one week.

Your civil wedding ceremony takes place in the Lister Suite with its decoratively plastered high ceiling and chandelier, red carpet aisle and wooden floors overlooking the beautifully manicured gardens beyond. You and your guests will enjoy a celebration drink before your wedding photographs set in manicured formal gardens, complete with fountain, dovecote and other beautiful buildings, including the attractive Orangery. The Orangery has its own private bar and your guests can relax here while you capture magical wedding photographs to remember your special day.
Set Up and party Details
We agreed we would arrive at 4 pm to set up for a 7 pm start. When we arrived the guests were just about to sit down for their Breakfast meal which was ideal because we could then set up in the other room without the guests knowing. We 1st set up the Mobile Disco with the Led Backdrop and the amazing Bose L1 Model 2 Sound System. We then set all 12 uplighters to a Pink / Purple colour to match their wedding theme. Then the hard work was to begin because we had to set up and polish the Led Dancefloor. We were all ready to go at 6.15pm. The party was to start at 7 pm and finish at Midnight.
This venue was very good at keeping with times and I started bang on 7 pm, Cutting the cake was at 8.15 with their 1st dance at 8.20. They arranged the buffet at 9 pm and it all works perfectly. The bride and groom also agreed to allow me to change some of their playlists. This was due to the fact they went to a party a few days before there wedding and used some of their playlists at the party and they said it did not go down very well. So they decided to let me play a wider range of music to suit all ages (bride and groom only wanted up to date songs)
Party Time
What a fantastic Crowd. I played as much of the brides and Grooms playlist as I could (played the popular songs). The dance floor at the start of the night was mainly the kids dancing but once the buffet had finished it was busy all the way till midnight. Once I finished everyone just clapped and cheered and some came over and thanked me. Brilliant night
